Meet Mrs. Guerrero:
Welcome to the 9th grade, I am excited to be your teacher this year. I love teaching Spanish Language and I am excited about all the things we will learn. I can't wait to spend this year working on achievement & progress with all of you. Spanish is fun and we are going to have an eventful school year.
I have been teaching for six years and this will be the start of my third year at Equality Charter School. The past six years I have taught: Spanish, ESL, and Special Education. I have an undergraduate degree in Spanish literature & culture from SUNY Old Westbury. I grew up in the Dominican Republic with my three brothers and my mother. I was raised in the Bronx, and I attended Manhattan Christian Academy. I graduated and finished off my high school journey at Bronx Theatre. I went to college at SUNY Cortland for Education. After two years I transferred to SUNY Old Westbury to pursue a degree in Spanish. My husband is a business manager and we have two sons: Angel and Aaden.
I absolutely love teaching and I can't wait to learn and grow with all of you.
